BIPAP

BIPAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure) is a non-invasive ventilation therapy. It prevents obstruction of airway passage by suppling pressurized air into the lungs of patients suffering from sleep apnea, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other respiratory complications. BIPAP provides 2 levels of pressure; Inhalation (IPAP) and exhalation (EPAP). BIPAP therapy can help to improve the patient’s breathing and reduce symptoms such as shortness of breath, snoring, and daytime fatigue.
